CLAIRE PALNUK It is with sadness that the family of Claire Palnuk announces her passing at the Misericordia Health Centre on December 6, 2000. Claire is survived by her sisters, Lillian and Olive Couch (Don) brother Daniel (Evelyn) nieces and nephews, Peter, Christine, Bradley, Jeffrey, Pat and Bonny. She also leaves behind special friends, Kassie, Joan and Isabel. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Agnes, and sisters, Hazel and Mary. "Auntie" Claire was a kind and generous person. She volunteered her time and was dedicated to the Luther Home, making frequent visits. She loved to curl, golf and travel in her younger years. Claire was a selfless and loving soul, whose generosity could always be counted on. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. Claires family would like to thank all the staff at the Concordia and Misericordia Hospitals for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claires memory may be made to the Luther Home, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or the Humane Society. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
